Hiring, or looking for work?

At Skilled Trades Headhunters, this is what we do all day: recruit skilled trades professionals.

Skilled Trades Headhunters recruits skilled tradespeople for employers nationwide. Pick one. Or call +13053064829 or email ivan@royaltytalent.com.

Which way should I send my opening?

There are three ways in, and each one lands with our team rather than a general inbox. Pick the one that matches where you are with the hire.

Submit a job opening

Use this when you have a real opening now: an empty service truck, a crew slot on a project that has started, or a lead tech who has given notice. Tell us the trade, where the work is and how soon you need someone. If you already have a posting or a job description, paste it or load it as a.txt or.md file. We read it before we call, so the first conversation is about what the posting leaves out, such as the truck, the on call rotation and the kind of customer the person will face.

Request a recruiting proposal

Use this when you are planning rather than reacting. Typical reasons include opening a new branch, adding a second shift, building a service department from scratch, or hiring several people in different trades. You get back a written outline of how we would run the search and the terms we would put in the agreement, so you can compare it with other options before deciding. Our fees page explains how a contingency fee works, and the comparison of recruiting, staffing, union halls and in-house hiring can help you decide whether a recruiter fits at all.

Call instead

If the opening is urgent or hard to describe in a form, call +13053064829.

What detail helps most?

  • The work itself: residential, commercial, industrial or field service, and the equipment involved.
  • The license level the job needs where the work happens, if any.
  • The pay range, overtime and on call terms.
  • Truck, tools and travel: whether a company vehicle goes home, who supplies tools, and any per diem.
  • Why the role is open, and whether the search needs to stay confidential.

Nothing on that list is required to send the form. It simply shortens the first call.

Can the search stay confidential?

If you are replacing someone who has not left yet, or you do not want competitors to know you are growing, say so. We describe the role to candidates without naming your company until they agree to talk.

Looking for work instead?

The hiring forms on this page are for employers. Tradespeople should use the talent network page. Employers pay us, never candidates.

Where do you recruit?

We are based in Miami, Florida and recruit for employers across the United States, for local roles and for traveling ones. There is no upfront fee; you pay only if you hire. See our process and our editorial policy for how this site is written.

What do people ask before getting in touch?

Should I submit an opening or ask for a proposal?

Submit an opening when you have one role and want the search to start. Ask for a proposal when you are weighing several roles, a new location or a crew build and want the approach and terms in writing before you commit.

Do I need a written job description?

No. A few plain sentences about the work, the location and the pay range are enough to start. If you have a posting you already use, paste it or load it as a text file and we will read it before we call.

Can I keep the search confidential?

Yes. Say so in the form. We do not name your company to a candidate until they agree to a conversation, which matters when the person you are replacing has not left yet.

Is there a charge for contacting you or for a proposal?

No. There is no upfront fee for a search or a proposal. You pay only if you hire, under terms set out in a signed agreement.

Do you take searches outside Florida?

Yes. We are based in Miami and recruit nationwide, for local crews and for traveling roles.

I am a tradesperson. Which form is mine?

Neither of the hiring forms. Use the talent network page for candidates. Employers pay us, never candidates, and we contact you only when a search fits your trade and location.
